About me

Erik Sandoval is an Emmy Award winning investigative reporter and newsroom leader who has changed lives and state laws with his reporting. He currently manages the newsroom at WKMG-TV, the CBS affiliate in Orlando, where he helps over see daily television and digital news operations. As a reporter, Erik was one of the first reporters on the scene of the Pulse Nightclub shooting in 2016. He's proud to be a longtime member of NLGJA and chair of Graham Media Group's PRIDE Employee Resource Group.
